You heard it as a kid, and maybe even now, you tell it to your own kids. But, do you believe it?
Life isn’t fair!
Oh, you say you believe it, but think about it…somewhere deep inside, don’t you wish it wasn’t true? I mean, shouldn’t life be fair? Maybe sometimes you think that it’s just not fair that life isn’t fair because life should be fair, and you’re going to make life as fair as possible because it should be, gosh darn it! Whoa!
Hang on. While this may feel like righteous indignation and a valuable goal and direction in your life…this way of thinking will keep you from being happy.
So, how do we get past this?
Check it out here…
Life Isn’t Fair
You have to accept that life isn’t fair. And then take it a step further by looking for what is positive and good. Just because life isn’t fair, doesn’t mean that there aren’t wonderful things that happen to you, me and everyone around us…even when life isn’t fair.
In the comments below, I would love to hear your thoughts about “life being fair”.

Hi D!! You are wonderful to listen to. I do disagree with “fair” though. I believe the reason we feel like life should be fair is because it actually is. I believe we create everything that comes our way and that we are all on this journey that has EXACTLY what we need to get to the next step. We just have to quit looking at what someone else is “getting” in comparison to what we get – because we are getting exactly what we attract – so it is all fair. If what we are getting is no longer working for us – change it, by creating it ANEW!! Just a thought in my head – it is a simple concept, but deep to explain! have a great day

Hi Tamara – Thinking that life is fair and that we create everything that comes our way is a beautiful concept! This is actually a key thought process behind “The Secret” and the Law of Attraction. The only problem comes when something truly tragic happens to someone (rape, death of a child, car accident, infertility, etc…) and thinking that we created it or it came to us because we attracted it is difficult, if not debilitatingly impossible to accept. However, I definitely agree that these situations, tragic or not, are necessary for us to achieve what we are meant to achieve. I think that every tragic moment takes us “to the next step” in our life’s journey…but I have a very difficult time agreeing that it feels “fair”. (Many times when we look back, when time has passed, it is much easier to see that the event was necessary for us to grow, become better people and help others.) The word “fair” may simply be a matter of semantics, because it sounds like we are mostly on the same page on this!! Thank you for posting your thoughts.
